Practice Mission Statement
Meaningful Change: Clinical & Consultation Psychology is a multi-disciplinary mental health treatment practice that provides psychological, psychiatric, and counseling services. Our mission is to provide high quality, empirically established, and structured mental health treatments with an integrated approach to patient care. We are scientist-practitioners who pursue long-term positive changes for our patients, while rejecting careless or scientifically contraindicated approaches to the treatment of mental health disorders.

& Care Philosophy
Clinicians at Meaningful Change: Clinical & Consultation Psychology are expected to find a balance between the expert-directed, and client centric models of patient care. Too much emphasis on expertise may risk stripping patients of the very agency that is vital for psychological development, while overreliance on subjective experience can amplify the same distortions that are the bases for psychopathology.

& Diversity
Meaningful Change: Clinical & Consultation Psychology recognizes the inextricable contribution of cultural axioms both interpersonally, and in the formulation of treatment plans and their implementation. The practice seeks to understand and include all domains of diversity and complexity when understanding individuals; both patient and professional. We do not engage in discriminatory behaviors and aspire to foster a practice where diversity of ideas remains a governing principle.
Preferred Names & Pronouns
Meaningful Change: Clinical & Consultation Psychology, its constituent members, and staff, both administrative and clinical, will honor requests for preferred names and/or pronouns. This is expected of staff independent of any clinical implications of such a request. However, where there is clinical importance to this domain, it will be addressed within the privacy of the patient-provider relationship.
